Blackstock & Barsell, P.C. is an estates and trusts law firm that had its start in 1983, when Robert L. Blackstock began limiting his practice to Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law. Over the years additional estates and trusts attorneys joined the firm, including Liz A. Barsell in 2000. Mr. Blackstock retired in 2018. In 2023, Liz's daughter, McKenna Koepke joined the firm after passing the California Bar.
Liz Barsell grew up in the East Bay Area and has been practicing here for over 27 years. Prior to joining Bob's practice, Liz was an associate attorney for a Family Law firm in Pleasanton. After working together for a couple of years, Bob and Liz formed a partnership, and thereafter changed to a California Professional Corporation. Her primary focus is Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate.
Liz is an active member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and part of the Trust and Estates Section. She is also a mother to four daughters and spends her free time backpacking, gardening, and sailing.
